Even long before the release of Touche Éclat in 1992, YSL Beauty was a true authority in makeup (fun fact: it launched in 1978 with a collection of perfumes and lipsticks). The brand’s tone of voice reflects this; oozing confidence and quiet wit with a certain Parisian nonchalance, of course. 

I got on board to offer some SEO expertise with a few rounds of editorial features guided by keywords and hot topics. Working between the SEO and creative teams, I carefully crafted these pieces to strike that fine balance between befriending Google and making the brand’s unique voice even louder in the beauty space.
